10G XENPAK
EQNET’s XENPAK optical transceivers are compatible with the XENPAK Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) as well as 10G Ethernet. The XENPAK products are used in datacom optical links and contain an XAUI electrical interface to the host board – 4 x 3.125 Gb/s Ethernet.
XENPAK modules offer customers a wide variety of 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data centers, enterprise wiring closets, and service provider transport applications. XENPAK modules are the 1st generation form factor of 10G optical transceivers, The current mainstream switches and routers no longer use the XENPAK optical module. The current market demand is mainly to deal with the maintenance of some older switches and other equipment. EQNET could offer the XENPAK products line including XENPAK SR, 300m over multimode fiber, 10km LR, 40km ER, and 80km ZR over single-mode fiber.
