EPON Transceivers
EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) is a new type of optical access network technology. It uses a point-to-multipoint structure and passive optical fiber transmission to provide multiple services over Ethernet. It uses PON technology in the physical design and Ethernet protocol in the data link layer to realize Ethernet access by using the topology of PON. The uplink and downlink rate of EPON is 1.25G, and each OLT can support up to 32 ONUs. The EPON optical module is mainly used to connect EPON ONU and EPON ONU equipment. EQNET can provide EPON OLT SFP optical transceivers for OLT equipment, it includes different types, like PX20+, PX20++and PX20+++ according to different optical power. On the EPON ONU side, We can also provide ONU SFPs for connecting ONU devices, ONU SFF modules (SC Receiptacle/Pigtail) for ONU devices, and EPON ONU stick modules with ONU functions and MAC addresses.
