56G QSFP+ AOC
The 56G QSFP+ AOC (Active Optical Cable) is a 56Gb/s (4x14Gb/s) data direct connection solution to 4x FDR InfiniBand and 4x16G Fibre Channel (FC). It is compliant with QSFP+ MSA, and widely used in data centers, storage area network (SAN) and high-performance computing (HPC) applications. The integrated cable transmits 4x14Gb/s data in each lane over a OM3/OM4 multi-mode fiber. The 56G QSFP+ AOC adopts 4-channel 850nm VCSEL array and PIN photo-detector array with COB technology. With lower cost and lower power consumption, the 56G QSFP+ AOC is an ideal alternative option to 56G QSFP+ direct attach copper cables (DAC) and SFP28 optical transceiver connections of short reach. AscentOptics provide high performance 56G QSFP+ AOC in lengths ranging from 1 meter to 100 meters.
